San Francisco-based TripActions, the developer of a mobile- and web-based travel booking aplication aimed at the business market, has raised $14.6M in a funding round, the company said on Tuesday. The funding was led by Zeev Ventures, and also included Lightspeed Venture Partners. The company says it uses advanced machine learning and other techniques to help travelers with travel booking and travel issues. The startup was founded by Ariel Cohen and Ilan Twig.
