Lytro Lands $60M More, Targets Hollywood
Mountain View-based camera technology developer Lytro announced this week that it has raised $60M in a Series D funding round, as it launches its first virtual reality project and targets its cameras for use in cinematic projects. The company said the funding was led by Blue Pool Capital, plus EDBI, Foxconn, Huayi Brothers and Barry Sternlicht, founder of Starwood. Existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, GSV, North Bridge and Qualcomm Ventures also participated.
