TL Biolabs Gets $4M For Genetic Testing For Cattle Herds
Santa Clara-based TL Biolabs, which is developing inexpensive, $15 genomic test for dairy and beef cattle, has raised $4M in a financing round. The seed funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz and also included Refactor Capital, Josh Buckley, and Y Combinator. TL Biolabs said its tests will make it possible for farmers to test every one of their animals, and use that data to improve the health, productivity, and fertility of their cows. Fred Turner is CEO of TL Biolabs.
