Innit Buys ShopWell
Redwood City-based Innit, the developer of connected gadgets for the kitchen, announced today that it has acquired Shopwell Labs, a developer of connected food and meal planning services. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Innit said it will continue to operate the SHopWell service, and will eventually integrate it into its platform. Shopwell develops mobile apps which let users get recommendations and information on foods that fit your "food lifestyle", and also provides grocery store loyalty offers to users.
