Riverbed Buys Xirrus
San Francisco-based wide area networking equipment maker Riverbed--which was recently acquired by Thoma Bravo--has acquired wireless access point and SD-WAN maker Xirrus, the two announced on Wednesday. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Xirrus has previously raised funding from August Capital, Canaan Partners, Interwest Partners, QuestMark Partners, and US Venture Partners.
