Riverbed Acquisition By Thoma Bravo Compeletes
San Francisco-based wide area networking equipment maker Riverbed Technology is now owned by private equity investor Thoma Bravo, the two said Friday, after the $3.5 billion deal successfully completed. Thoma Bravo paid $21.00 per share in cash for Riverbed, in a deal that had originally been announced in December. Riverbed was publicly traded as RVBD on the NASDAQ.
