Circle Pharma Ups Funding To $6.5M
South San Francisco-based Circle Pharma, which is developing a computational and synthetic chemistry platform aimed at enabling macrocyclic peptide therapeutics, has upped its Series A funding to a total of $6.5M. The company said the new funding came as part of an expansion funding from new investors WI Harper Group, Elements Partners, LLC, Whitesun Healthcare Ventures Limited and LifeForce Capital. The company also previously raised funding from Mission Bay Capital, Pfizer, ShangPharma Investment Group, and individuals. Circle Pharma is led by David J. Earp.
