SiFive Scores $8.5M
San Francisco-based SiFive, which is developing open-source, RISC semiconductors, said this morning that it has raised $8.5M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Spark Capital, and also included Osage University Partners and Sutter Hill Ventures. SiFive was founded by Krste Asanovic, Yunsup Lee and Andrew Waterman, and has now raised a total of $13.5M.
