Hound Labs Sniffs Out $8.1M
Oakland-based Hound Labs, which is developing portable, breathalyzers which can detect THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, has raised $8.1M in a funding round. The funding came from Benchmark. Hound Labs is led by Mike Lynn, an emergency room physician and faculty member at the University of California, San Francisco; Lynn was also a venture capitalist at Adams Street Partners.
