TrapX Snags New Funding, CEO
San Mateo-based cybersecurity software developer TrapX Security, a developer of cyber security software aimed at deceiving attackers, has raised new funding, and a new CEO. Size of the funding was not disclosed, although Strategic Cyber Ventures was involved in the funding. As part of the funding, the company said it has appointed Eran Barkat as its new CEO. Barkat had previously served as CEO of the company, and the company said he also represents one of the company's major investors.
