MedGenome Raises $30M
Foster City-based MedGenome, a developer of cancer immunotherapy biomarkers and other genomics research and diagnostics products, said today that it has raised $30M in a Series C funding. The funding was led by Sequoia India and Sofina s.a., and also included Zodius Capital, Kris Gopalakrishnan (co-founder and former CEO, Infosys) and Lakshmi Narayanan (ormer CEO of Cognizant). MedGenome's tests have initially rolled out in India for genetic diganostics, for both cancer treatment and non-invasive prenatal screening test (NIPT).
