MedGenome Gets $4M For Cancer Diagnostics

, which is using genetic information in India to better treat cancer in that country and elsewhere, has raised $4M in a Series A funding. THe company said the funding was led by Papillon Capital and Emerge Venture, and also included individuals such as Dmitri Mehlhorn (Bloomberg BNA Legal), Ambiga Dhiraj (MuSigma), Tim McLaughlin ( Siteworx), and Dan Peterson (CASHNet). The company is using DNA sequencing and data anlytics to help with cancer diagnostics and oncology.
