SoftIron Snags $7M For Enterprise tStorage

SoftIron
says it has raised $7M in a new funding round, for its cloud-based enterprise storage systems. The funding came from Earth Capital Partners (ECP). SoftIron, led by CEO Tim Massey, offers up clustered enterprise storage based on the Ceph open source clustered file system. The company's 5U storage system, HyperDrive, supports up to 192TB of capacity.
