WibiData Snags $15M For Big Data Software
San Francisco-based WibiData has raised $15M in a funding round for the firm's enterprise, big data software. The startup, founded by Christophe Bisciglia and Aaron Kimball, said the Series B round was led by Canaan Partners, and also included New Enterprise Associates and Eric Schmidt, the Chairman of Google. WibiData is developing Hadoop-based big data tools aimed at helping enterprises to build their own applications.
