Slack Gets $250M, Now Valued At More Than $5 Billion

, the developer of enterprise messaging and collaboration tools, has raised $250M in a giant new funding round, which reportedly values the company at north of $5.1 billion. The funding was led by SoftBank's Vision Fund, and also included Accel Partners. Slack previously has also raised funding from GGV Capital, Spark Capital and Thrive Capital. Slack has now raised a giant total of $841M in funding. Slack is led by CEO Stewart Butterfield.
