Afore Capital Raises $47M Pre-Seed Fund
San Francisco-based Afore Capital, a new "pre-seed" investment fund, said today that it has raised $47M for its first fund. The fund was founded by Gaurav Jain and Anamatira Banerji. Jain was Product Manager at Android Nexus, is affiliated with Founder Collective, and has invested in such companies as Cruise Automation, Firebase, and others; Banerji was founding product manager at Twitter, and also has been involved with Foundation Capital, Kik, Mesosphere, Hutch, and others.
