Zyme Acquired By E2Open
Redwood Shores-based Zyme, a developer of sales channel data management sdoftware, has been acquired by E2open, the companies announced this morning. Financial details of the transaction were not announced. Zyme's software is used to track sales, rebates and marketing promotions in the channel, and counts such customers as Amazon, Dell, Fujitsu, GE, Microsoft, Plantronics, Seagate, Symantec, VMware, and Xerox. Zyme was owned by Insight Venture Partners, which had just recently acquired Zyme in April in a $100M deal. E2open is based in Austin, Texas, and develops supply chain management software and related services.
