InVisage Technologies, a developer of image sensor technology, has been acquired by
Apple, Apple confirmed today. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. InVisage's sensor provide far better light sensitivity, to improve image capture. The company was founded in 2006. The company was backed by China Oceanwide Holdings, GGV Capital, Nokia Growth Partners, InterWest Partners, Intel Capital, and RockPort Capital.
