PacketZoom Picks Up $5M
San Mateo-based PacketZoom, a developer of software which optimizes the transfer of data between mobile apps and the Internet, has raised $5M in a Series A funding, which was announced last week. The funding was led by Baseline Ventures, and also included First Round Capital, Tandem Capital and Arafura Ventures. The company's software works with native mobile apps to streamline data transfers.
