FireEye Buys X15 Software
Milpitas-based cybersecurity software developer FireEye announced this morning that it has acquired X15 Software, a developer of big data software used in the cybersecurity area. FireEye said it will pay $15M in equity and $5M in cash for X15, which has approximately 20 employees. X15 was based in Sunnyvale, with operations in India, and was founded in 2013.
