Hippo Gets $25M More For Online Home Insurance
Mountain View-based online home insurance provider Hippo said today that it has raised $25M in its Series B funding. The startup, led by CEO Assaf Wand, said the funding was led by Comcast Ventures and Fifth Wall, andalso included otherinvestors. Hippo said it uses such information as municipal building records, satellite imagery, and smart home devices to provide insurance quotes to homeowners in under 60 seconds.
