Palo Alto Networks Completes $300M Evident.io Buy
Santa Clara-based Palo Alto Networks said on Monday that it has completed its $300M acquisition of Evident.io, which develops public cloud services infrastructure protection software. Palo Alto Networks paid $300M in cash for Evident.io. The two had announced the acquisition earlier this month. Evident.io was venture backed by such backers as In-Q-Tel, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Bain Capital, True Ventures and Venrock, and had raised around $49M in total funding.
