Eventbrite Buys Spanish Ticketing Firm Ticketea
San Francisco-based Eventbrite said on Thursday that it has acquired Ticketea, a provider of ticketing services in the country of Spain. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Eventbright said the acquisition is the second of two, major European acquisitions for the company, including last year's acquisition of Ticketscript in January of 2017. Eventbrite said that Javier Andres, co-founder and CEO of Ticketea, will join Eventbrite as Country Director of Spain and Portugal.
