Eventbrite Gets $20M More

Eventbrite
, the provider of online services for event organizers, said today that it has raised $20M in a Series D funding round. The round was led by DAG Ventures, and also included Tenaya Capital and Sequoia Capital. Eventbrite said the new funding brings the company's total raised to $29.5M. Prior to the new round, Sequoia was the only investor in the company. Eventbrite said the round will help it "accelerate the transformation of the ticketing industry", and said it anticipates $200M in total gross ticket sales this year. The firm said it has processed more than 7.5 million tickets so far this year.
