Redwood City-based
EAT Club, which provides delivery of food to employees of high tech and other companies, announced today that it has acquired
Farm Hill and its personal meal business. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Farm Hill was also based in the San Francisco area. EAT Club is venture backed by August Capital, Trinity Ventures and First Round Capital, and has raised around $50M in funding. In a related move, the company said it has named Doug Leeds, former CEO of IAC Publishing, as its CEO; Leeds was most recently a Executive in Residence at August Capital.
