, a developer of open source, SQL databases for the real-time machine data area, has raised $11M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Zetta Venture Partners and Deutsche Invest Equity plus Mike Chalfen, Momenta Partners, Charlie Songhurst, plus Draper Esprit, Vito Ventures and Solomon Hykes. Crate.io's database tools are specifically designed for real-time machine data and IoT applications.
