San Francisco-based
Penrose Studios, which develops virtual and augmented reality film titles, has raised $10M in a Series A funding, the company said on Wednesday. The funding was led by TransLink Capital, and also included Marc Benioff, the founder of SalesForce; will.i.am; Korea Telecom, and Co-Made, along with Sway Ventures, 8VC, and Suffolk Equity. Eugene YK Chung is founder and CEO of Penrose Studios.
