Santa Clara-based Gigamon said on Tuesday that it has acquired ICEBRG, a security company based in Seattle. Financial details of the buy were not announced. ICEBRG's software provided network visibility and threat correlation, used for detection and triage of security threats. Gigamon said that it will add ICEBRG co-founders William Peteroy and Josh Carlson, along with ICEBRG's team, to the company, and also set up an R&D center in Seattle, its third R&D center.
