San Francisco- and Austin-based
JASK, which develops cybersecurity automation software, said Thursday that it has named Dave DeWalt as the company's Vice Chairman of its Board of Directors. DeWalt is the former CEO of FireEye and McAfee. The company also said it has added
NightDragon Security, the investment firm run by DeWalt, as an investor in its recent $25M Series B funding round along with Draper Nexus. JASK had
announced that round, led by Kleiner Perkins, in June. Other investors in that funding round included Battery Ventures, Dell Technologies Capital, TenEleven Ventures and Vertical Venture Partners. JASK was founded in 2015, and has its headquarters split between Austin and San Francisco.
