San Francisco-based
OODA Health, a startup developing healthcare payment technology, has raised $40.5M in a Series A funding round, the company said this week. The funding was led by Oak HC/FT and DFJ. OODA health says it is focused on removing waste and inefficiency from healthcare administration. The company said that Annie Lamont of Oak HC/FT joins the board; DFJ Partner Emily Melton also serves on the board. Giovanni Colella, MD (Castlight Health, Relayhealth) is the co-founder and CEO; Seth Cohen (Castlight Health) is co-founder, President, and COO; Usama Fayyad, Ph.D. (Barclays, Yahoo) is co-founder and CTO.
