A10 Networks Seeks Sale, Says Report
San Jose-based A10 Networks, which develops Distributed-Denial-of-Service (DDoS) threat protection, application delivery, and other networking hardware, is looking to sell the company to a buyer, according to a report on Friday. According to Reuters--citing "people familiar with the matter"--A10 Networks is exploring options to sell the company. The publicly traded company--which had its IPO in 2014--has seen a significant drop in its stock price under strong competition. No other details of the possible sale and talks have been disclosed. It's likely the leak about the sale may have come from parties near to A10 Networks, in part to drum up other potential bidders for the company.
