San Leandro-based
FreeWire Technologies, a developer of electric vehicle (EV) charging technology, has raised $15M in a Series A funding, the company said today, in a round by BP Ventures. According to FreeWire, the funding round also included Volvo Cars Tech Fund, Stanley Ventures, Blue Bear Capital, Oski Clean Energy Partners, Strawberry Creek Ventures, Spike Ventures, TRIREC, and others. FreeWire says it is developing EV charging and mobile, on-site power technology. The company is led by CEO Arcady Sosinov.
