San Francisco-based fresh food delivery service provider

, which uses artificial intelligence to arrange the delivery local products from supplier to customers in what it says is only 60 minutes, has raised $2.2M in additional venture funding, the company said this week. The funding came from ARTIS Labs, Resolute Ventures, Y Combinator, Red Dog Capital and others. Farmstead says it has now raised $7.5M in total. According to the company, the new funding will go towards accelerated geographic expansion for the company.
