Farmstead Picks Up $2M For Grocery Delivery AI
San Francisco-based Farmstead, which says it has created an "AI-powered micro-grocer" which uses artificial intelligence and software to help deliver food from the farm to your fridge in less than 60 minutes, has raised $2M in a funding round. The seed funding came from Resolute Ventures and Social Capital, plus SV Angel and Y Combinator. Farmstead, led by CEO and co-founder Pradeep Elankumaran, says it is using artificial intelligence to automatically route grocery from farms to consumers. The company has now raised $4.8M in seed funding.
