Superpod, a startup that develops a service which lets users ask questions and get answers from experts, has been acquired by
Google, according to multiple reports, in a deal worth approximately $60M. Exact arrangements behind the deal, which has Google acquiring Superpod's founders and which resulted in Superpod shutting down its services in September, have not been announced. Superpod was founded by Sophia Yang and William Li, both of whom previously worked at Google. The company was venture backed by Precursor Ventures, Charlie Cheever, Social Capital, and the House Fund.
