ClearStory Data Acquired By Alteryx
Menlo Park-based ClearStory Data, a software company developing products for managing complex and unstructured data, has been acquired by Irvine, California-based Alteryx. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. ClearStory Data was venture backed by DAG Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, Google Ventures, Khosla Ventures and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Alteryx said the deal will provide it with a "talented team and compelling technology", and also help it with extension into Silicon Valley. ClearStory Data develops software for the enterprise market, used for automation of large-scale data processing.
