RealWear, a developer of helmet-mounted, wearable Android computers, has raised $80M in a Series B financing round, which included both equity and debt, which came from JPMorgan Chase & Co., Teradyne, Bose Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures LLC (QCOM), Kopin Corporation (KOPN), and investors from JPMorgan's (JPM) Private Bank. The company has an office in Milpitas, but is based in Vancouver, Washington. RealWear develops a wearable, Android computer that include an eye-mounted projection display with voice control. The company sells its wearables into the industrial market.
