Google Moves Sky To The Web
Mountain View-based Google has made the firm's Google Sky information -- the firm's collection of information about space and the solar system--available on the web, the firm announced Thursday afternoon. The information, which previously was available only as part of the firm's Google Earth software package, includes information and imagery of planets, Hubble telescope images, and other information. Google had initially rolled out Google Sky in August of 2007 as part of Google Earth.
