Wikia Gets $10M
San Francisco-based Wikia, the developer of online collaboration and wiki software, said Friday that it has raised $10M in a Series C funding round. The firm said the round was led by Institutional Venture Partners, and also included Bessemer Venture Partners and Amazon.com. The company said the round was oversubscribed, and brings its total raised to $10M. WIkia said the funding will go towards mobile, video, strategic acquisition, and other growth efforts. Wikia is led by Craig Palmer.
