San Jose-based Micro Linear Corp is being acquired by Broomfield, Colorado-based Sirenza Microdevices, for approximately $45.6M. According to Micro Linear, a supplier of digital wireless transceivers, it has signed a definitive agreement with Sirenza to be acquired. The stock deal calls for 0.365 shares of Sirenza to be issued for each Micro LInear share. Sirenza is a supplier of RF components for commercial, consumer, and aerospace markets. Micro Linear said that it will join Sirenza's SMDI business segment for the consumer applications market. Both firms are listed on the NASDAQ, Micro Linear as MLIN and Sirenza as SMDI.
