Trend Micro Buys Identum
Cupertino-based Trend Micro said today that it has acquired Identum, a UK-based developer of email encryption technology. Financial terms of the acquisition was not disclosed. Identum will become Trend Micro (Bristol) Ltd. According to Trend Micro, it will integrate Identum's encryption technology into its existing solutions. The firm also said existing Identum products will continue to be available under Trend Micro's brand.
