GCT Semiconductors Gets Series E Funding
San Jose-based GCT Semiconductor, which is developing ICs for the wireless industry, has received a new round of funding worth $5M. The firm said it received the Series E round of funding from DoCoMo Capital and JAIC America. GCT said that the round would be used to continue expansion of the firm's global operations, and accelerate product development of its RF CMOS technology for mobile handsets.
