Broncus Raises $29.5M
Mountain View-based Broncus Technologies has closed a $29.5M round of venture funding. The Series F round included Abingworth, Biomedical Sciences Investment Fund, Bio-Star, HBM BioCapital, HBM BioVentures, Japan Asia Investment Co (JAIC), Menlo Ventures, Pac-Link, Rockport Ventures, Saratoga Ventures and Sightline Ventures. Broncus is developing an investigational bronchoscopic procedure for the treatment of emphysema.
