Cisco Buys Orative
San Jose-based Cisco has acquired San Jose-based Orative, in a deal worth $31M in cash. Orative develops mobile software applications that work with Cisco's Unified Communications Systems. Cisco said that the acquisition is expected to close in Q2 of 2007. Orative has 33 employees in San Jose, and is backed by Trinity Ventures, Mayfield, and Diamondhead Ventures.
