YouTube, Verizon Take Videos Mobile
YouTube is in a deal to tkae the firm's popular user generated video service to mobile phones, saying today that it has entered into a strategic mobile distribution agreement with Verizon. YouTube will enable subscribers to Verizon's Wireless V CAST service to access the most popular YouTube videos on their mobile phones. The YouTube mobile service will be available to Verizon's V CAST wireless subscribers, who pay $15.00 a month for access to a variety of video, television, and other content.
