Business Objects Acquires Nsite
San Jose-based Business Objects said Thursday that it is acquiring Nsite Software, based in Sunnyvale. Nsite is a provider of software-as-a-service application software. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Nsite's software platform is used to enable users to quickly build on-demand, software-as-a-service offerings through a browser, using AJAX techniques. Nsite is backed by Copan Ventures and Worldview Technology Partners.
