Business Objects To Acquire Cartesis
San Jose-based Business Objects said today that it is in a definitive agreement to acquire Cartesis S.A.. the deal is worth approximately $300M in cash. Cartesis is a provider of enterprise performance management software. The deal is expected to close within 90 days, and is subject to regulatory approval, shareholder approval, and other closing conditions. Business Objects is a developer of business intelligence software.
