Business Objects Completes Inxight Deal
San Jose-based Business Objects said Wednesday that it has completed its acquisition of Inxight Software. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Inxight Software was a provider of software for unstructured search and discovery. The Sunnyvale-based firm was venture backed by VantagePoint Venture Partners, Alex Brown Ventures, Vertex Venture Capital, Reed Elsevier Ventures, Xerox Corp., Siemens Venture Capital and In-Q-Tel. The deal was originally announced in May.
