Check Point Acquires NFR Security
Redwood City-based Check Point Software announced this morning that it is acquiring Maryland-based NFR Security, a provider of threat prevention tools. The deal is worth approximately $20M. NFR Security has 22 employees based in Rockville, Maryland. NFR develops Sentivist, real time threat protection software targeted at intrusion detection and prevention.
