Intuit Picks Up Check For Mobile Bill Payment
Mountain View-based Intuit said this morning that it has agreed to acquire Check, a developer of software and apps to help consumers keep up with their bills and financial accounts. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Check will become part of Intuit's Consumer Ecosystem Group. Check--formerly known as PageOnce--is based in Palo Alto, and was backed by Menlo Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Pitango Venture Capital, TriplePoint Venture, as well as others.
